DeccanRubyConf 2015 will be accepting all types of talk proposals starting April 23rd 2015 through June 30th 2015. Due to the competitive nature of the selection process, we encourage prospective speakers to submit their proposals as early as possible. We're looking forward to receiving your best proposals for talks. You can submit as many proposals as you want.
DeccanRubyConf 2015 will be held at Hyatt in the city of Pune, India on 8th August 2015. This is a one day, single track conference.
These are the traditional talk sessions given during the main conference day. They're 20 minutes long + 5 minutes for questions.
As for the topic, that's up to you. We want something for everyone. We want the hot topics in the community right now. We also want the hot topics for the future. Where is Ruby going? You tell us. You're the people who make those decisions and we want to share them.
DeccanRubyConf is entirely volunteer-organized and run, and works hard to keep costs as low as possible.
a. Only the keynote speaker will be given Economy class to and fro Air fare + lodging and boarding expenses from 7th Aug. check in to 9th Aug. check out.
b. There is no remuneration to any other speaker whether he/she is an invited / foreign / Indian speaker.
